My stay at Maya World Belek was quite the experience, with a fantastic pool that I enjoyed, but I encountered quite a few issues overall. The food options didn't cater well to my palate, and cleanliness in my initial room was a concern. However, I appreciated the help from the staff in moving me to a better room. Overall, it was a mixed bag for me.

Initially, I was placed in a room that was not cleaned properly-there was hair on the floor and even a dead lizard! I was backed onto a mini disco which went on past midnight. Thankfully, I was moved after two days to a better room.

The bar staff were sometimes hit or miss when it came to remembering my cocktail requests, but I did find the entertainment team engaging, especially Deniz, who played cards with me and let me use the pool table for free in the evenings, which was a nice touch.
